• Makr Carry Goods Japanese Lookbook
  • To launch its product line in Japan, Makr Carry Goods needed a lookbook which made use of both Japanese and English.

  • We selected a Japanese typeface which we felt complemented the wholly American Makr brand.

    • Skytop is the house wine of Skytop Lodge in the Pokonos which is known for the brilliant display of changing leaves in autumn. Inspired by the name of the resort, we illustrated leaves caught in the wind, modeled after actual computer-aided simulations of this phenomenon.

    • To offset the stark simplicity of the illustration we reached for a traditional Venetian titling face for the lettering.

    Red82 is an independent software developer targeting the embedded and iOS market. Their contact information was transmitted, captured with a network monitoring tool and the output was blind-letterpressed. For those of us that can’t read raw data packets, we also included this data in English.

    B. Cox Roofing is a commercial and residential roofing contractor in Central Florida. Benton Cox has been roofing for over 30 years and has a reputation for honesty. We designed his card to harken back to a time when contractors were more widely trusted.

  • Laura & Benjamin Wedding Invitation

    For Laura and Ben Masters’s beach wedding invitations, we decided upon a dramatic illustration of a Siphonophorae – a marine creature as elusive as it is beautiful. The invitations were Letterpressed and make use of classical Italian titling type.

    The Reef in Grand Cayman’s simple relaxation message is not forgotten once the guest arrives. Fun illustrations add life to the otherwise dull medium of doorhangers while our Simple Relaxation Cards are left in the room to inform guests of the many ways to relax while there.
